Colonel Robert S.
Stewart, III (Bobby), recently won 2 awards during the competition at the
West Virginia Auctioneers’ Association annual State Convention held at
the Stonewall Resort located in Roanoke, WV.
On Friday night, Bobby won first place for The People’s Choice
Award and on Saturday night, he won the West Virginia Grand Championship
Bid Calling Contest.
Bobby
attended the Walton School of Auctioneering in Medina, Ohio in 1996 and
continues to be active in the field of auctions. He is self - employed as a contract auctioneer not only in
West Virginia, but also in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Bobby conducts 200+ auctions a year, focusing on automobiles.
While competing in the World Automobile Championship in Florida, Bobby
placed 18th in his division.
Bobby
is currently employed with the local family business at Stewart’s
Auction Company. Also, Mt.
State Auto Auction, Capital
City Auto Auction , and Manheim.
He
is currently serving as Vice President for the West Virginia
Auctioneers’ Association and resides in Jane Lew where he is active in
local and surrounding communities. |
